The dull orange glow of the moonlight seeping through the early evening mist surrounded the estate. All that could be seen of the house, looking up the long drive from the deserted dirt road, was a single glowing window; a silhouetted house with a single bloodshot eye staring out into the darkness. The moaning of the wind through the trees and the occasional hoot of a distant owl was all that could be heard this gloomy night. Happy Halloween to all my friends at Caedes.
