This shot was taken two years ago at Aņo Nuevo State Park (about 55 miles south of San Francisco on our 5th wedding anniversary. This coastal area and park is the site of the largest mainland breeding colony in the world for the northern elephant seal. They estimated about 3,000 sea lions were there at one time!!! Not all in this one shot of course:):):) The range in size is about 6 to 14 feet in length!! Enjoy:):)
