This was taken back in 2003 or so. I had stumbled across a mother alligator and her young and decided to take video of her or the babies. Each frame of this collage is about 1/24 of a second. As you can see, she went from perfectly still to mouth full open in 5 frames! It was like a shotgun going off in real time and needless to say scared me half to death. I included some photos of the offspring as well. Morris Bridge Park, Tampa.
