I woke this guy up at Lettuce Lake Park back in May 2016. We're getting the outer bands of Hurricane Hermine. We're fine, it's not what you see in hurricane footage with the bending palms, etc. One of the bands just passed though about 30 minutes ago, and there was a little wind and rain, but pretty mild like most of the tropical storms I've been through. Flooding is the main concern, and although we're near the river, I don't see us getting wet. The radar image of our area looks much worse than what is going on. Side note: We watched one of our resident gators in the lake behind our apartment eat a big catfish earlier. :) Should have taken a photo.
