I noticed yesterday across the lake from my home an alligator sunning itself on the bank. It was the first gator we have seen in ages. As I approached he let me know that he's not getting back in the chilly water so I let a sleeping gator lay. Surprisingly, he stayed in the same spot most of the day until someone walked by and startled him.
