In our travels a few days ago, we managed to witness a mama turtle very similar to this one lay its eggs and cover them up in our complex. Hopefully they can hatch undisturbed and make their way to the river. This picture was taken not too far away at Lettuce Lake last month. I want to wish everyone a truly happy Thanksgiving! Despite troubles that abound, there are many things to be thankful for.
