Philmont Ranch, New Mexico. ~6500ft ASL. March, 15th, 2007. Philmont Ranch is a 137,500 acres (210 sq.miles) of beautiful land, donated to the Boyscouts of America by Waite Phillips, for use as a wilderness training camp (simply, outdoor fun!). Incredible land, amazing mountains, and simply fantastic hiking!
