This is my humble entry into the Tolkien-esk contest. Although i am sure not a winner part of the reason i am entering it is because this was taken in Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dean. Accoring to the tourist blurb Tolkien used to frequent this wood very often and it was thought that it was part of his inspiration for Middle Earth. After much consideration i decided that it was in fact Lothlorien that this picture represented most closely as it seemed too friendly looking to be either Mirkwood or Fangorn. Also i thought that the ethereal sunlight coming through the trees could easily be a herald of the Lady Galadriel. More posts from this forest to follw but just wanted to upload this one first so i could enter the contest.
