This was taken alongside a Shinto shrine in Yufuin Japan. There is an amazing lake there that is geothermally heated and in the mornings in the colde rmonths (like December) the lake and the waterways it feeds into release a beautiful "asagiri" or morning mist. You can see a hint of it from the "mote" around the shrine. If I can I may post a pic or two of the lake. Best wishes in the New Year to everyone!
