Last weekend in May 2010, we visited Fisherman's Island. The blip on the distant horizon is Beaver Island which is 32 miles away and a two hour boat ride from Charlevoix. It is the first time I have seen Beaver Island this clearly from this location. Where I took this photo is about 20 feet above the water. Once you get down to the shoreline, you can no longer see the Island.
