The Little Orme, a limestone headland at Llandudno, North Wales. At the other side of the bay lies the Great Orme (Creuddyn). Orme is from the Norse word urm or orm, meaning sea serpent, and legend says the name was given by marauding Vikings, the Great Orme symbolising the head and the Little Orme the tail. . . . . .
