Do you remember the song "Ferry Cross The Mersey'? This is the view from that ferry as it leaves the Pier Head. The three main buildings are referred to as The Three Graces, The Royal Liver Building (with the legendary Liver birds on the domes), The Cunard Building, and The Port of Liverpool Building.The litle church spire that can be seen towards the right is the Church of Our Lady & Saint Nicholas, c.1356, locally known as The Sailors Church or St Nicks.
