A close up of the NZ Native Ice Plant (Disphyma australe), Horokaka in Maori, taken on my 'Aquamarine' walk. It is such a common sight here it is taken for granted - it is quite pretty and very tough. Take a LOOK HERE to see why I did not linger long on my knees to get this shot - its a very very long drop down into the sea lol.
