This is typical of the beaches on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island where I recently visited. The forest descends right down to the shoreline. The road was directly behind me when I took this picture(another stop the car! I want a shot stop) and it carries on round the headland. . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7 . .
