You perhaps can see some little white dots just right of centre in the lower area - they are sheep,but urban legend has it that other creatures lurk here in the tussocklands of the Lindis Pass ! There have been recorded sightings (and photos) of a black panther-like creature and others claim to have seen a mountain lion. Neither animal lives wild in New Zealand. Others say what were seen were just overgrown feral cats. All I saw were the sheep and clouds which seem to have fallen out of the blue sky but I did not linger too long . . . .
