Black Swans (Cygnus atratus)- 100 of these birds were introduced to New Zealand from Australia in the 1860's. There are now up to 100,000, so are quite a common sight. Unfortunately I did not have a zoom lens with me today so could not get any closer than this without swimming and although it is was the first day of Spring it was still a little chilly :). I will go back suitably equipped some time.
Canon 450D. Comments very welcome.
