When I was a child the only time I saw a real lemon was if someone had a bad cold or cough and one was bought to squeeze the juice to add to a glass of hot water with honey. To be sipped slowly:)
I dreamed of a garden greater than the three privet trees in front of our house whose only purpose appeared to be to prevent the light from entering the front room.
In my dream garden there would be lemons growing on trees, as I had seen in books, and blue delphiniums, and yellow daffodils, and singing birds, and butterflies.

Often when I walk past my single Meyer lemon tree and smell the beautiful blossom, or grab a couple of fruit I am reminded that dreams can, and often do,come true. Also that it is the simple pleasures in life that mean the most.
I share this little lemon blossom with you - and may your dreams also come true.
