Cricket World Cup 2015. Today at the University Oval in Dunedin NZ where NZ beat Scotland by three wickets.
As Dunedin is known as the Edinburgh of the South the Scots surely felt quite at home and they and the crowd were well entertained by local pipers.
Of the two people in this household only one is a cricket fan and that is not me ! However,as these tickets were a Christmas gift I went along and to my surprise thoroughly enjoyed the day :) We were seated (on our little beach chairs) on the grass embankment on the right of this photo.
My only complaint was that is was very very hot, and as umbrellas are not allowed there was nowhere to hide from the sun and now I am quite a bright shade of red :)
Well done our lads !
I took this with the Panasonic TZ60 in panorama mode. No editing except to clone the head of the walking spectator in the beige shirt in the middle of the shot back on to his body, as somehow it was floating along in front of him.
