It is Spring here in New Zealand so this is from my bin for the contest. I love Autumn.
This was taken in May just a few days after we had transitioned to the slightly less restrictive Level 3 from the very strict nationwide Level 4 Lockdown. After being confined to our homes this first walk in the park was especially welcome. Very few people had ventured out and some areas were still cordoned off. It was very strange to see the children's play area empty and out of bounds, apart from a waddle of ducks that had made themselves at home there.
It seemed like quite an adventure to be out ! Maybe this pandemic has taught us to appreciate more what we often took for granted.
It was so easy to stroll along this path and think all's well with the world. Sadly it isn't.
