This is the harbour at Moeraki Village where we visited today for a delightful birthday celebration lunch in the local Tavern, where they had a lovely fire roaring to keep us warm on a very cold Day. Fish (Blue Cod, pan fried) was a fine choice from the menu. We drove up the hill afterwards for some photos but it was freezing, so did not linger. The meaning of Moeraki is "Drowsy Day"
