Following the path. This is not only a walking path, it is also part of the Alps To Ocean Cycle Trail, the longest of the 23 Great Rides of New Zealand. The Trail begins at Aoraki-Mt Cook and is broken into 9 sections, ending here. It takes 5-7 days to complete the 371 km journey. The gardens are a lovely peaceful place to end the energetic journey. I wish I were young and fit enough to ride the trail. :)
