Happy Friday ! Kōwhai blossoms. Kōwhai is native to New Zealand and is our National Flower. I am very fortunate to have two trees in my garden. These blossoms were taken today with my phone. Its name derives from the Māori word for "yellow." It is considered a sacred tree, symbolizing wisdom, knowledge, and connection to the land.
