New Years Eve and the sea was angry. The Fur Seals had retreated to dry land - I lost count at 40 of them. It is a long climb up the rocks from the waves and there were still several attempting to come ashore, some making several tries as they were swept back into the sea. This is the place the Little Blue Penguins come ashore each night so I hope they managed.We saw a couple of fights - resting seals objecting to new ones invading their space. The speed of them is amazing
