Viewed fill size you will see the two Matapo from my image of a couple of days ago. Their home, Sumpter Wharf is in the background on the right. Behind that is the penguin colony. There are many tourist that visit here and see all the birds on the wharf, and excitedly start taking photos, thinking they are penguins ! The penguins do not come ashore until dark. (Little Blue Penguins sometime called Fairy Penguins) This year there have been approx 1000 hatchings.
