Sometime ago I was trying out macros on some difficult subjects and this was one of the better results. Not sure on the species of hoverfly or plant. Picture not crystal clear and overexposed in places but it captures a nice range of colours from purple to green with a dash of yellow from the flower head. The fly appears to be having a quick clean.
