The rising sun glimmers around a duck on the water just where Ginninderra Creek is becoming Lake Ginninderra. I spontaneously woke up at 6am (I would rather have stayed asleep.) and seeing as I wasn't sleepy I went on a short field trip with the Pentax K20D instead. "Ginninderra" is derived from an aboriginal word meaning "sparkling like the stars". Seems appropriate for this shot despite it being a daylight setting.
