It's probably obvious by now that I am fascinated by Thai culture, the difference between how they live and how I live is endlessly educative and helps to relativize things I take for granted as the norm. I think this was the coolest garage I've ever seen (Pun intended). This fishing village is set among mangrove forests that grow around the edge of this bay. The jetties that all these houses are built next to are concrete, everything else is hand built from wood. It's an entirely difference sense of privacy and personal/communal space than us westerners take for granted.
