I've been playing around in the Gimp with the blend tool, gradients and fractals and layer modes. A lot of fun and I've generated a bunch of newish fractal versions and revived some fractals that previously were not share worthy. This was an Apo fractal layered with a simple fading repeating blend pattern and difference mode on the layer. The red and dark bits were part of the Apo image, the cyan areas were transparent. Totally transformed a dull brown image I could not do anything with. Plenty more were this came from. He He.
