These rocks have been huddling together, having a long quiet natter, for quite some time. Good luck to them I say.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

In answer to Owd Bob's query, it was the contrast between the whiteness of the rocks and the darkness of the water stains that drew my eye originally to this potential image, This spot is in a reasonably deep and well treed gorge so I presume the rocks don't get a lot of direct sunlight and the green is moss/lichen, something that likes it wettish, notably it's on the sides of the rocks rather than the top, away from what direct sunlight the rocks would get. None of the other rocks in this gorge were whitened, so I'm guessing, it being urban run off water mostly, that the white colour has something to do with stuff in the water.
