And no, it's not a commentary on my love life, I have none to comment on. The image started out as a sky you might recognise, then some layering with difference mode and various blend gradients, plus a distort tool in The Gimp to create a vortex effect, add my hand as the arm of god or fate and there it is. I can't imagine it gracing many desktops but as a visual poem I enjoyed making it.
