In the Historical (Mostly Re-created.) shopping mall of Yuyuan Gardens in Old Shanghai I was taking a respite from the pressing mass by slouching against a pillar on the sidelines. Well, that's what I wanted the pressing masses to think. I was people watching. Looking for just this kind of shot. I did a fair bit of work because it was low light situation without flash, ISO 800 if I recall and it was a "moment" I needed to be speedy to capture so my setup wasn't lengthy or considered. I like the recursive nature of this narrative.
