Old Town Shanghai with a hint behind it of the non stop building development engulfing these older tenement areas. Not far from the tourist shopping precinct of Yuyuan Gardens you will find these narrow twisty alleys reflecting a lifestyle from a hundred or more years past but still being lived in today. I have a few shots which will collectively illustrate the pragmatic creativity of the Chinese living in these areas to find space where there is none.
