Wide and Narrow Streets in Chengdu are two streets harking back to the Han Dynasty days of the city, they are as much "re-creations" as "restorations" but the whole area does have a very enjoyable quality about it for wandering, browsing, cafes and restaurants. The houses along these streets that are not businesses are actual homes, this entrance I'm pretty sure is a restaurant. I liked the way all the elements of colour, line and texture played with each other, right down to the little girl being in red.

PS, if you haven't got the message yet, Chengdu is a seriously great city to visit and some of the nearby nature areas are totally amazing as well.
