I wasn't going to post this but LynEve's post of the old horse who had a young pony for his friend gave me an idea. The lady in this picture, Jean, and I do everything together. It is a strange friendship. I am 71 and she is 86. We like the same things. We think alike. We like to just get in the car and go. Go where? Who cares! She often goes with me on photo shoots. We are like salt and pepper. A friendship like this happens rarely in life, if at all. On this day I took her to nearby Lake Charles to tour the shoreline. She has had some really serious health issues lately. I get teary eyed when I think of losing her. Although who knows, I may go before she does. But that is in God's hands-and so is she.
