Another Dutch highlight: the VOC ship Prins Willem, commissioned in 1651 served the Vereenigde Oostindie Compagnie as a "trading"vessel to Indie. After the return from it's first voyage it was mounted with 41 cannons and was used in the English war. It's probably the biggest tall ship of the VOC ever build. This photo is actually from a replica, with was hand made and crafted. This marvellous ship can be visited if you ever plan to come over to Holland, it's anchored in Den Helder.
