Another shot from the sail parade in Den-Helder (Holland). Cornelius helped me out by providing the following information: this is the 'Alexander von Humboldt', flagship of the German Sail Training Association. Homeport is Bremerhaven. Built in 1906. Length 62,6 metres. Width: 8,0 metres. Number of sails: 24 (in toto 1,010 square metres). This bark is called after the German Freiherr von Humboldt (1769 - 1859).
