A museum on the water in Broek op Langedijk Holland. (Broek = trousers, Langedijk = long dike) Museum Broeker Veiling is the oldest sail-through vegetable auction in the world. The remarkable wooden building was built over the water. The boats bearing the vegetables intended for auction would sail into the building, and after the produce had been auctioned they would sail out at the other end.
