I got a cutting from my grandmother's Indian Rope plant (hoya) from my mother. I don't know if it ever bloomed for my mother, but we accidentally discovered how to get ours to bloom - it loves to be root bound. The blossoms are umbrella shaped clusters that look waxy, almost artificial. Magnified the flowers look fuzzy. The flower above is about a half inch across.
