This is a display from my son's wedding last week. Have you played with the latest Lightroom? The "Mask Subject" is FANTASTIC! I used it heavily this week because of the strong lighting coming in through the windows. My general step is to raise the exposure so that the subject is decently lit. Then select the subject mask and then invert it so everything else is selected. Then lower the exposure so that the subject is better contrasted. I rescued more bad takes than ever!
