Over the weekend, we tried to attend the Morro Bay Kite Festival. It was windy which made for excellent kite flying weather. Unfortunately, it was also very foggy. As we wandered around, we saw many people holding the strings of their kites. Because of the fog, the kites disappeared into the fog at about the five meter mark. Parking was horrible, but we parked at a bank that was closed. These flowers were at the bank's parking lot. I could have submitted a fine photo of an old hippie holding a kite string and looking forlornly up into the fog, but the flower had nicer colors.
