My Caedes friends have been through the parks of Hamburg now quite a lot. For a change now I am going to take you all on a trip down the Elbe (pronounced "Elbay") river starting from the position shown above. This place is called "Landungsbruecken" meaning "Landing bridges". The normal ferry boats and special sight seeing boats tie up here. This is just a part of the river front.

Hamburg is a river port and the largest port of Germany. Modern Giant container ships as well as passenger ships visit the port of Hamburg regularly.
