This huge monument is very much like Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. I was standing under the gigantic statue and the sun was right behind Christ. I am not a religious person but I was filled with awe. It is a pity I couldn't include the tips of the fingers in my frame: I would have fallen off the tower if I stepped back anymore! I would like to dedicate this picture to the memory of the late nephew of Gabi. May he rest in peace!
