When I saw these beauties in my rose bed I knew I needed to capture the scene. Distant Drums is a shrub rose by Dr. Griffith Buck. He worked long and hard to come up with rosebushes that could survive harsh winter climates. This one does for sure. Her bloom colors change as the blooms age which is a nice plus.
