Nope, this isn't the Mississipi mispelt. This is the Murrissippi ^__^. Half Mississippi, half Murray.

It's not actually a real river, it's manmade. It can be found at Dreamworld in Queensland, Australia. One of the "Big Three" theme parks on the Gold Coast (and my personal favourite. They have tigers!).

There's a paddlesteamer that goes around this. Once upon a time (when I was a little girl) there was a show that was put on for the passengers on the banks of the river. It was a Bushranger show with hold-ups and firefights. Sadly, they don't do that anymore, but these huts and the like can still be found on the banks.

Taken from the (moving. This pic was hard to take!) park train (6 December 2009), that goes around the outside of the park much like the one you can find in any Disneyland...actually, Dreamworld reminds me a little of Disneyland. Just a little.
