This pic of a cluster of 'mums' was taken Oct 19, 2008 around 2:30 pm from my front yard - LaSalle, Ont, Canada. I used a white background with a somewhat wide aperture setting to get a blending effect with the softer/blurrier pinks of the background petals and flowers. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI and a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 AF lens set at 1/160s, F/4.5, ISO 100 and a focal length of 192mm.
