In Des Moine, IA we have a museum called Iowa Hall of Pride. In it most High School sports have a section dedicated to that sport and in the hallway is this wooden mural made out of little pieces of wood and then painted. I don't know the technique that was used to piece it together, but it was really an eye catcher.
