I woke this morning with 'Beautiful Sunday' by Daniel Boone in my head. Shows my age! But it's certainly a beautiful day... leapt up and threw open all the doors and windows; cooked breakfast and brewed coffee.

This is a hazy spring sky that I took very quickly out of my window when I saw the softness and the merging colours. I'm not much of a photographer and nearly didn't bother, feeling it wouldn't work anyway. But here was the camera, there was the sky, and I had a few minutes to spare, so I tried anyway. The camera had my new 'nifty 50' lens on it, not a zoom lens, and I just went with it.

I wouldn't have posted or even really looked at it, if not encouraged by Les (in an off-topic thread) to be slightly more forthcoming with the posts. ;-) I don't know if people will like this or not... but Happy Easter to everyone!
