Posted by request: I took this photo in our garden.. it's the one I made Fleeting Summer from. I wasn't sure how to crop it to make it suitable for a desktop… but perhaps it wasn't really suitable anyway, and I should have gone back down there and framed it differently. ;-) Also, there is very little that's in focus.

Camera: Canon 350D.
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.

Edits: Processed the raw file in Photoshop to liven up the colours (the camera's own JPEG tends to look cool and 'dead' in comparison!) I wanted to bring out the pinks without destroying the sunlit green, so I had to do that using a layer mask. Maybe the green is too yellow and bright anyway?

PS Looking through my older image titles, I notice I have favourite words… 'Summer' is one and 'Fleeting' is another!
