If you think this looks like something I would have made in 2009, you'd be right!

I even titled it and had it in my Christmas folder, so am surprised I never uploaded it anywhere. Then again, I remember I went from thinking "that's OK" to "Aargh!"

Just as well, maybe, as I've now brightened and sharpened it considerably.

Software used:

(1) Apophysis 7X 2.08
(2) Photoshop Elements 2.0. This is software from 2002, still running on my old Mac.
(3) Photoshop CS5 (Just about clinging on in OSX Sierra)

Notes:

(1) I found the original render. Its long, unwieldy title points out that I used a custom gradient in Apophysis called Magic Hour -- I know which photo that was from. Interesting the details you can ferret out even eight years later.

(2) This was created the same day as Christmas Touchdown and Snowman Glamour.
