Chaotica is a rare example of software that works better on an updated OS! It wasn't really made to work in Snow Leopard, though in the App Store it said it did. But now I'm using Sierra, it lets me do things I couldn't do before.

Big example: save renders to be resumed later. This is something I'm going to use all the time. :-)
